The pandemic continues to disrupt the food and beverage industry, boosting business for many products eaten at home while wreaking havoc on restaurants. In March, Ad Age Next: Food & Beverage returns with speakers at the forefront of the changes hitting the sector who will share how they are faring in what’s likely to be another tumultuous year. Established brands that were under pressure from startups have been rediscovered by shoppers, who continued to buy items such as cereal, cookies, flour and frozen meals months after the initial COVID-19 shakeup. And restaurants are resetting their expectations as prolonged safety measures mean fewer, if any, in-person diners.

From marketers who have found ways to make their products stand out in online shopping carts to restaurant operators succeeding thanks to their drive-thru prowess, Ad Age Next: Food & Beverage will help shine a light on the ways the sector is preparing for whatever comes next.
